FS: Turbo

I am selling this for a friend, so the information I give you is straight from him.


It was for a 2000-2001 4 cyl. Eclipse (never installed) and includes the following:

Turbonetics 8 psi. 16G compressor polished; He paid $2870 for the turbo kit

Sparco 3.5"x7"x24" Intercooler; paid $785

Greddy Air/Fuel Gauge with datalink processor; paid $360

Walbro 255 GPH Fuel Pump; paid between $100 and $150, couldn't remember

Black Ceramic Coated manifold for the Eclipse; said he paid $600 for the coating, don't know if he had other things coated also

Plus all mounting hardware, waste gate, and intercooler hoses.

He has receipts for all of the main stuff and the total came to $6779

He wanted me to ask $4000 for everything but I told him to forget that dream. He wants to sell everything together and is not willing to sell certain pieces separately. I am putting it on here first before it goes on ebay to give you guys the first chance to make a realistic offer.

What should I ask him specifically. The thing is, he knows very little about cars and nothing about turbos. So I need specific questions to ask.

So if the manifold, the IC, the A/F gauge, the fuel pump(which sells for $95 shipped new on ebay) al was seperate from the kit.. What the he!! came in the kit for $2870??? Seems to me he got hosed... Man I can build one he!! of a turbo setup for SIX GRAND! Geez for $4000 grand I'd be running 12's in my Accent! Of course I can do most, if not all the work myself too:hmmm:.. Good luck with this endeavor...irate:
