interested how bad is the tranny? does it drive? how many miles on everything? what other problems, etc... i'm in central new york and am looking for a new ride.
I'm not concerned with the turbo or manifold. I just need to buy a car pretty soon. I sold Tibbychick my 97 tib which smacked a deer, and the mustang is totalled. <-- lol that one put me in the hospital.
ok, tranny needs clutch pressure plate throw rod, throwout bearing slave cyl. about 500 bux at hyundai. prob 700 or more at tranny shop. nyne, i sent you an email that said sold, it may not be if you are interested. as far as dropping off at tranny shop, sure im sure you could try that. i am moving to NY and cannot take the car with me, so it needs to be gone before 20 dec, yes NEXT week.
i talked a bit with 'Al' here from the boards he went and checked it out. from what i was told the clutch pedal was stuck in place and would not move so as it sits it is undriveable. we suspected that the clutch was messed up as well as either the master or slave cylinder since the pedal would not move. IM/email Al, he probably remembers the car at least a little bit but unless it has been recently fixed the last i know it was undriveable.
it seems like a good project car to me.

beppo, thanks for your reply. yes, beppo is right, the car is still undriveable. the slave cyl must be replaced. the clutch and pressure plate as well. i'm pretty sure with just a slave cyl i could drive it, but it wouldn't be good. i have driven it though, and if you fight the clutch, you can get it going. only been ran once since al was here though. battery is needing a charge. also, the old tranny and all parts come with car, so you could get a core charge for them somewhere. let me know. oh yeah, nyne, if you didn't get my call, the car is in nc, not pa.
