UPDATE: car is now 700, car is running and ready to go
i have a black 95 hyundai sonata with 117k on chassis. Brought the car 2 weeks ago from a old guy saying that he overheated the car and turn off the car and got it towed home. So I assummed it was just a headgasket that went bad, so i changed it, Still didnt fix the problem so i took the head to get inspected at carquest, they told me that is good. So it swap over a 4g63t bottem end instead of a hyundai g4cp motor thinking that the piston rings where toast. Still didn't fix the problem, so i did a leakdown test of my own, and turns out that cylinder 2 had 2 bad exhaust valve, thanks alot carquest, new clutch,waterpump, and timing belt, new used tranny was also install when i put the 4g63t short block in.
Update, now has a rebuilt 4g63t head.. needs timing belt job done, have a belt on hand. To busy to get car done..
