Can you send me a few pictures? Specifically of the interior as it is now and the motor/trans mounts. More details on where the motor came from/mileage, alpha or beta transmission, etc.

skierd007 at hotmail dot com

Thanks!

Thanks!
right now there is no interior, except for the prosport tach, stock gauges, 2 seats, and heater/ ac controls.

there are only 3 mounts on the engine right now, the passenger side has not been modified to fit yet.

the motor came from a junk yard near my house, out of a tiburon. it is a beta 1, with about 40,000 miles on it. it started up fine the first time, and it runs great.

its the 1.5l tranny, new clutchmasters clutch, and lightweight flywheel

few specs:
5 speed
clutchmaster clutch
lightweight flywheel
rear strut bars
tiburon 15 inch wheels
new tires
prosport tach
modified fluidyne radiator

yeah i know. the car may need a little work, but you cant even find an 98 accent for this cheap let alone with a 2.0 swap already done. looks like i might be taking it to the scrap yard soon

does it still need a new tranny to be driven? I've got the cash if you think I could drive it home to Vermont.

If you're just going to give it to the scrap yard, I'll have it towed up to me.

I checked out the VA Driven thread (missed the link before). Do you still have any of the interior pieces? I need them for the racing class I'd be in with it (SCCA Street mod).

And I just realized a friend of mine works in a machine shop and might be able to help me with a motor mount. Don't throw the car away just yet.
