1.6's won't work either they have different markings as well due to their shorter deck height...

actually I have a 1.6 and 1.8 block sitting here on the floor and the deck hieghts are the same......I know the 2.4 is 3/8" higher tho. I guess I will have to pull them from the junkyard. (ugh) Thanks bud.

I hear you. Ive seen those things bent up many times.
I only need the intake gear now, I bought a really nice adjustable one for the exhaust from ebay. Im going to read up in here and see if I advance or retard the exh cam timing for some higher end hp.

run it on a dyno thats the best way to find out forsure, i want to dyno mine cus with the 1.6 ecu it seems to have way more nuts then the 1.8 ecu on my 4g63, just wanted to see the difference on the dyno charts, more mid to low end on the 1.6 tuning maps
