Default (2) Air Ram performance intake manifolds and matching compatable strut bars

I recently purchased some more Mopars (1969-1/2 Dodge Super Bee, A12, 'M' code, 440 six pack, lift off hood, 4-speed, Dana 60 rear with 4:10 super track pack that is butterscotch in color. The other one is a medium blue metallic 1968 Plymouth GTX 440 HP, 4-speed, Dana 60 rear with 3.54:1 posi). I decided to quit dumping money into my two Tiburons and get even more serious into drag racing and restoring the Mopar muscle cars.

As the title states I have (2) Air Ram intake manifolds for sale. Both are in great condition. One is coated and the other is polished.

The coated one was REDZs Air Ram. I forget who I bought the polished one from. I had 4 of these intakes at one time and sold the other two a while back.

Coated:

Polished:

$850 + 45.00 shipped via UPS with $900.00 insurance and tracking number to the US. I shipped one of the other Air Rams I sold to Spain and shipping was $275.00 for 5-day delivery.

For an extra $100.00 I'll throw in an Air Ram compatable front strut bar with each Air Ram intake manifold. They are powdercoated black.

no one will take it for that price... unless you count on selling it to a complete dumbass without knowing the approx price for an Airram. But i'm sure there arent such people here...
try Ebay.

I collect 1963-74 Mopar muscle cars. Anything for anyone of these cars.

I also have 1996 CBR 600 that I wouldn't mind picking up some more aftermarket parts for.

I would be interested in a centrifugal/roots type supercharger for a V8.

I will consider any offer, however these intake are perfectly fine where they are right now. I am not looking to just get rid of these as I like both of my modded Tibbys, I just have a lot of $30-50,000 muscle cars that I would rather invest in.

My brother is the head salesman at Daves Guitar Shop in LaCrosse, WI. He also writes for some guitar rag once in a while. His name is Jeff. He had a serious collection of original LesPauls and just sold most of them to buy two very mint original 1959 LesPauls. One was valued at around $100k and the other one was like $70k. Thats crazy! He loves that stuff though.

Each. IT's a little on the high side, however like I said They are beautiful pieces and are hard to get. They are not getting any easier to come by with each passing year. I just never got them installed on my Tibbys yet so I though I'd see how much interest is out there for them. If nobody buys them they'll get installed, eventually.

You're not gonna sell them here either. No one is ignorant or stupid enough to pay that much money for one, just because you did. Really, this is such an insult to one's intelligence. Why would anyone pay that much for a manifold that isn't worth it, when they could hold out for a bit and wait for someone else to sell one for hundreds less? This thing retailed for $550 BRAND NEW guys.

Fact is, this all comes down to greed. Bragging about how much money you're spending and how many airrams you've owned (which, BTW folks, he bought 2 Beta 2 airrams that wouldn't fit on his Beta 1 Tiburons.) isn't impressive at all.

Plus, if you actually did spend $275 to ship one of those to Spain, you are a complete moron. I ship things to Spain all the time, there's no way it would cost that much. Maybe $50-$75 via USPS.

b1gb4ll3r, don't waste your money. You'd be better off waiting a couple weeks and checking rdtiburon.com often. Guaranteed someone else will put one up for sale for HUNDREDS less. We get at least 1 a month for sale at rdtiburon.com.

quoted from my posts over at rdt.com

Quote:
knock the price down to about 600$ shipped and you might find a buyer.

the air ram is not worth anywhere CLOSE to 850+shipping. i dont care if its coated in gold..

this is coming from a previous air ram owner.. had it on my car when is was N/A and boosted..

FYI, these things come out of the box polished.

or not..

just letting people know that the air ram isn't some super duper Intake manifold worth anywhere close to what your trying to sell it for.. i suggest you try selling them on ebay, cuz you wont get the price you want on here. marking up the price 450$ from what it was new to try to make a quick buck is not gonna happen easily on here.

specially when im posting. smile.gif
just keeping a look out for my fellow hyundai enthusiasts.. wouldn't want anyone paying 300$ over retail just so someone can make a quick buck.
