Default 2005 V6 tucson dies on its own - when it feels like it????

Driving my 2005 V6 Tucson two days ago and I went to accelerate from the lights and nothing. I looked at the dash and all the lights were on. I turned the key and it started right back up again.

Got to my destination 2 mins. later and when I came back to the vehicle 1 hr later it wouldn't start again. Eventually got it running again and took it to the stealer.

Stealer put it on the machine and said "yep, something wrong with ignition but I can't look at it now. Take it home and let me know if it does it again".

Well.........as you can guess, I never got out of my driveway this morning. Tow truck took it back to the stealer.

FEW QUESTIONS:

1) DEALER REFUSING TO GIVE ME A LOANER. I said "How am I supposed to get to work 40 km (25 miles) away?

2) They said I didn't the the better warranty when I bought. NOBODY EVEN TALKED TO ME ABOUT THAT????????? TO BUSY TRYING TO SELL ME UNDERCOATING.

3) ANY IDEA OR ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS SAME PROBLEM?

a number of tucson owner's seem to have reliability problems with their tucsons.

whenever a new vehicle is introduced..it alway's has some problem's and bug's

tucson's stalling and not starting or not firing up..what the heck is going on with hyundai??

if they don't issue a recall..it's back to the old excel day's again.."my Hyundai tucson was Crap"

i expect JD power rating for hyundai to drop soon.
to believe they awarded the tucson an award for quality..OMFG!!

Default check

well there a couple things that are common are the intake boots fall off causeing lose of power and dying problems, surging. Another is the fuel pressure regulator in faulty causing the car to flood its self making it hard to start but other that that its a good car i love them.

Sounds like your intake hose is coming off of the MAF. Look at the air box and you will see the hose leading to the intake. In between the air box and intake is a MAF. Which is a Mass Air Flow meter. Usually on the side towards the intake the hose will come off. When you take off from a stop the engine moves and then pulls the hose off. Then you let of the gas and the hose goes back on the MAF. There is a campain for this to fix the problem. You are still covered under warranty if your not over 60k in miles. The TSB for this problem is 05-20-003-1. Oh ya.. Hyundai is no were near the days of Exel's.. They are just having some little production problems. With all the new stuff there are bound to be some issues.
