Yeah I've tried looking. Energy uspension, Whiteline, they don't seem to stock parts for the Tucsons. My only other option is to get a set of used shockers from the yard and send them off to TEIN's dealer in SG to get them worked[cartridge-style, re-manufacturing of the shock body]
AND I want to tighten up the handling a bit. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find specific brake rotors[pads are no issue, I can have those and the braided lines made up] and having DBA make me a set would be ridiculous price-wise. Basically what I'm looking for are:
Shocks
Stabalizer bars
Brake rotors
Polyurethane bushings for the arms ONLY
Castor kit[offset bushings are fine too]
Does anyone know if there's a States-side company who makes this stuff, because it's going to be a runaround if I have to measure up the original parts and have them made[no, I do NOT want to pillow-ball the entire chassis because the family would be cursing my name]

Bloody hell, looks like I'd be better off breaking out the verniers and bore gauges then.

there is poly- urthane kit avaiable for the tucson .. Kspec has it its just very expenisive...
So far i have supercharged my tucson 2.7 and will be doing suspension and headers next send me and email probably i can help u with your projectsince we have the same suv
Well. For one thing I'm not slamming it, and I'm not putting big blings on it. I'm not doing anything to the engine either; all I want to do is to get the handling as positive as I can without sacrificing ride quality[which is why the shockers will stay stock, but alignment, bushings and tyres will change with the stabalizer bars if I can find them]
I'll look into the KSPEC ones definitely, but it all comes down to cost. The car doesn't justify a full-on pillow ball and PU bush setup like in my trackday weekender; it's a daily driver and it HAS to be civilised, which means no lowering[moderate alignment changes alright though]

I know I don't have A Tucson but I have a loaded Sportage EX V6 4WD. I have the H & R 1.6" drop on mine. So far my mods are:
H & R 1.6" drop
18x7.5" Enkei RSV's with a 35mm offset
235/60/18 BF Goodrich KDW's
Black headlights
All red tail lights
OEM rear spoiler
20% tint
2.5" exhaust
Cold air intake
Pioneer DVD player
1 Polk 12" DB sub
Rockford Fosgate amp
When I get my taxes back I am putting on a stage 2 alpine supercharger, Poly motor mounts, redoing the exhaust in stainless steel(It's aluminized now), Getting a custom front bumper made, doing a double din DVD player(Can't stand the flip out), brushed aluminum dash kit, Drilled and slotted rotors with dual piston calipers. I think that is it. I would like to do the suspension bushings and a sway bar too. I hope to get it around 300hp.
all I want to do is to get the handling as positive as I can without sacrificing ride quality[which is why the shockers will stay stock, but alignment, bushings and tyres will change with the stabalizer bars if I can find them]
LOL How are you gooing to get anywhere with cheap Hyundai stock suspention...??? LMAO ... Ride quality what ride quality ??? N-E way Bro good luck on Tuning your Tucson...

I honestly don't see what you're getting at m8. Tuning to me doesn't involve overly large rims, excessive lowering and chrome. And I don't see improvements in handling as "de-tuning." It's where I begin with any car anyhoo; handling is all-important to me. All I want is to get things a bit tighter as far as roadholding goes; the tyres are fine[I'm running a slightly bigger rim and a wider tyre over stock, keeping things pleasant for those daily journeys but at the same time providing a lot more lateral grip] I've already had the alignment sorted once, and it's a vast improvement over stock. I would like to go further though, which is the purpose of this thread.

I drove tucson some time ago. It has very nice suspension but little bit too much rolling and it was diving and rising too. maybe just little bit stiffer springs could do the trick like eibach ones.
tyres weren't up to the task too but looks like you all have changed your rims and tyres to better and tightier ones.
