Santy weight reduction

Hi All,

I'm the new owner of a 2006 Santa Fe 2.7L FWD and live in rural southern New Jersey. The first mods I'm planning to make are dropping some weight from the vehicle for both performance and fuel economy.

My questions are as follows:
1) I want to replace my full size spare with a donut from a local recycling yard. Does anyone know which cars have donuts that will fit a Santy?

2) What rim and tire combination has less rotating mass 235/70 R16 or 235/60 R18?

3) Any there any popular light weight rims available?

After doing some research on Tire Rack, I've decided to go with 16 inch wheels but have not decided on which brands of wheel and tire. However, I'm still looking for a donut that will fit my Santy.

Other upgrades, I've decided to replace my step bar and remove the rear seat. I also plan to do a CAI tuned for low end grunt.

Researching:
Next year, I plan to lower my Santy so it sits like a Crossover (lower than a truck higher than a car) to maintain ride quality. I'm aiming to improve cornering and breaking performance while also improving aerodynamics.
