Static charge from Tuscon seats

When my wife or I get out of her '07 Tuscon we strike an arc big enough to power Atlanta for a week! I use my car key to discharge myself on the door so it's less painful.

Does anybody know of a chemical treatment to use on the seats to address the high voltage issue? The problem doesn't exist with my '01 Santa Fe. Bzzttt!!!

It's about how you get out. Put your foot down first and have a hand on a metal part of the car as you get out, see if that helps.
