The lc2 seem to have more steps then the lc. I just took out my headlight, took a screwdriver and broke the orange reflector and then took out the pieces with a needle nose plyers. I still need to upload pictures. BTW it looks good without orange.

Hey my German sweetheart, glad to see you came onto HP.com. Reheat the headlights and bear hug the 2 parts back together.. or you can get a Silicon or Rubber Sealant and reseal it that way to keep moisture out..

Need a little help on this one, got them in the oven for a couple minutes, moved the tabs up just a bit but as hard as i tried, I couldn't pry them open. Had the lights against my chest at one point and it was digging through my thighs, but still nothing. Got a little flathead screwdriver and tried prying it that way but all i did was crack a bit of the plastic so I figured I must be doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Oh, and on a second note, anyone managed to get the #$!#ing window handle off an LC2? I've got scratch marks all over it now, tried the cloth method, tried sticking a screwdriver and pulling like crazy, but ended up bloody and without anyting to show for it.

The glue probably isnt soft enough to pry apart yet.. also, Dont forget there is a screw on the headlight you need to take off because you wont get anywhere w/ it on there also.

Also, make sure not to leave any finger prints on the chrome. Clean it before you put it back together. Also make sure its sealed well enough so you dont get moisture build up in there.

i'll give hmaservice a shot. my fingers are burning. hint, keep hands away from that metallic screw in the middle.

*edit* finally got it. everythings looking good. ill post a pic of that stupid wire if anyone else has that same problem.
