Default interior trim modification

Hi,
First of all well done for all your work, and thanks for posting all the above. The result is amazing!

I'm a beginner in modification and I own a hyundai accent like yours. A small thing which I'd like to ask is about removing the interior centre trim, so that I can replace the OEM radio (which I can see you did also). I have removed the ash-tray and undone the 2 screws which are hidden under the ash-tray lid, and managed to pry the whole console slightly apart. However I'm meeting a considerable amount of resistance in the centre part, which I think is due to the fan unit. Could you kindly explain how to remove this trim without any damage so that I can replace the OEM radio?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help. Best of regards.

you need to disconnect the heater cables.
2 under dash driver side
1 under dash passenger side.

for driver side : go under the dash and look at your right, you will see 2 white plastic thing.
passenger side : open glove box and unscrew it , then simply disconnect the cable there on the white plastic thing.
remember to remoce those small clip holding cable.
