How bout a Forum for How-To's - Hyundai Performance Forums

I was thinking, what about making a forum that would include How-To's and step by step walkthrough's for doing quite common things. If a admin or mod finds the perticular topic good enough, he could lock it.

For example, people could make step by step walkthrough's on making CAI's for various cars. Also, maybe a walkthrough on Painting the interior. Etc, Etc....

What do you think?

We're working on the section on the main part of the site to accomodate these.

If anybody submits a how-to to chris@hyundaiperformance.com and it is used on the site you will receive a free HP.Com T-shirt.

T-Shirt? What about a 15% off on any HP.com purchases under $250 (% depending on the How-To difficulty) - You need to give some incentive... people won't want to get 2 or 3 of the same shirt

don't push it! he dosen't have to give you anything. he could just leave it up to the mods and admins to do these or the willing public. that what is offered and be happy!:smoking:

sorry but we don't have any control over discounts in the store right now plus the fact that at first we will be making little to no money on the products because we will be airfrieghting it from Korea until we can start stocking it in the US.

The site is a free information site for you so helping us out if you can should be done without expecting anything we just try and be nice by offering an incentive. But all the mods and Admins volunteer their time and get nothing in return. If you can't do anything to help that that is cool too because we don't expect it.

AUTOBOT, I just read about the air freighting thing in another post, and I completely understand about the discounts. I didn't mean to come across as rude or unappreciative. I appreciate all the time and effort that the mods and admins put into the site. I know it has to take up a lot of time and it usually calls for putting up with a lot of crap, and I respect that.

I don't expect to be getting any discounts and understand that this is going to be a very difficult step for HP and I really admire all the people involved. I think that the t-shirt is a great idea.. I want one myself. I don't want my post to be understood as being ungrateful, because it was only meant in fun. I hope all the mods and admins keep up the tremendous work and I pray for them to do well and hope they are able to benefit greatly from this. Maybe one day the profits will get high enough where this can be a full-time paying job for the admins and mods

until then, keep up the remarkable work.. I know it has to take a lot to keep this up

Ungodly amounts of time considering it doesn't pay a thing and I work 45-50 hrs at my real job (sometimes more) then I usually dedicate a couple hours before I go to work and a few more when I get home to the site.

But don't worry, I didn't take your comment as trying to be rude or anything.

it would take a large merical to get me to do this full time! i don't mean that in a bad way, but when i have 16years till i retire i don't want to mess that up. i'm only 21 but the af is doing a good job keeping me! i could do it part time. but my spare time is free. i'm just out to make sure that everyone has a good time and has fun tunning! i didn't want you to take my first post in a bad way. but nothing in life is free you know that. so a t-shirt isn't all that bad for a few hours of your time.
