Default Suggestion for Sell/Wanted forum

Hey admin people,

I was just wondering if there is a away of splitting up the Sell/Wanted forum into specific countries or continents so that it would be easier for users to see relevant items. Or at least have a rule that they have to state which area the product can be available to.

Thanks
XLT

You can bnot expest the seller to list all the info. All we ask is for them to list the item and the price. if you are interested you can ask them in the thread or through email any other info you may need.

As for splitting up the forum there is not too much of a need. We do not want to clutter the site. You just have to do a little work yourself to get all the info you require.

Rob,

How about using a form instead to post new topics in the for sale / wanted forum.

Something like

Item :
Description :
Price :
Contact :
Location :
Pics :

Well you get the picture. You can make the fields compulsory as stated by this specific forums rules. You could also add a option 'Sold' which would automatically lock the topic or edit out the post title. This would save on the hassle of asking for certian details.

Note this would only be available if you are posting a NEW topic. Questions can be asked as usual.

On a side note what would you think of having a auctions section ?

Red_AGT keeps the leash on the for sale/wanted forum. I'll have him take a look here and you can get his input. :bandit:
