How about a brochure/manual/book/webpage/whatever with a definitive listing of what parts work in each year/model. For example, what OEM parts are interchangeable within the X3, LC or LC2 family. How about a section detailing "proven" modifications such as alpha/beta swaps, (What year/model/type tranny mates with what year/model/type engine, how mounts need to be modified, wiring harnesses and ecms needed, etc...) Tib knuckles onto Accents, (What problems will be encountered with bolt spacing, proportioning, hand brake functionality, etc...) parts compatability between Tibs and Elantras... The list can go on and on. If a few of the veterans on these forums could get together outside of the public forums (Too much misinformation floating around.) and come up with some sort of Hyundai Tuner's Encyclopaedia, I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to pay for rock-solid information bearing the "Shop.HP.com Seal Of Approval".
Just a thought.

I think that's a good idea... it's just a crapload of work! If I had the time and a junkyard full of Hyundais, I'd love to do it! I had an idea of making some kind of ultimate j2 Elantra guide when mine takes a crap. Kind of a custom, full-color guide to everything.

I posted this to show anybody how much potential we have with hyundais, wether they are turbo, N/A or otherwise we can do anything we put our minds to, people are out there doing it as we speak, the people mentioned above are a few of them.
i think that is a good idea as well. im on here to try to learn more about cars so that would be a cool way for me to do it without having to ask my husband everytime I have a Q or to start posting a million Q's in the newbie forum.

Lots of people have had the intentions to create one, but it's hella hard. The amount of knowledge on this site and others is so vast and spread out, that putting it into one location would be almost impossible. I hate squashing dreams, but I doubt it'll ever happen. Unless of course... you wanna do it. Then I wish you the best of luck and you'll get lots of cooperation.
