sorry to say buddy...but your out of luck. You can make yourself a custom CAI http://www.teamsr.org/ForumLinkedIma...rs_cai_diy.htm, but that is about it. Your gonna have to get parts custom made for you. Do you have a auto or 5spd. Hopefully a 5spd because that helps out a lot. You can go to and exhuast shop and get a custom cat-back system done for you. But otherwise..there aren't any places that sell performance parts for your I4.

if you have a kaka load of money to spend then you can go do a beta swap, i think the guys in korea do this because the beta is a hell of alot easier to tune

can somebody tune in and let us know if that is a directswap or its gonna some fabricating to do?:??:

I think some fabrication is needed sence they are totally 2 different engines and a 2.0L was only used in 98's and lower...I will try to check into it.

I'm in the same boat, Mo. I've got the '02 Sonata and there is absolutely nothing for it. However, I am thinking of throwing on a custom 2.5" dual exhaust. I just hope there's enough room under the trunk to do it, with the spare tire tub and all. If only I could find a couple of small mufflers that would fit on each side and not make much noise.

For more power you want a new exhaust..you won't want dual exhaust. You have to have a nice straight through system. The more straight throught design with low backpressure but high stream velocity is what is and ideal exhaust system is. Dual exhaust will slow down the high stream velocity. Check out this site....http://www.magnaflow.com/05magazine/05sportc.htm

OK. That sounds good to me, but I'm still not sure on the size plumbing for my engine. 2.5" sounds pretty big to me and I don't want to loose any torque because of it, but I do want to get the best performance possible, and still be Quiet. uzzled:
