Yeah, talk to DSM-SONATA. Eventhough he's using an I4 Mits motor, I'm sure he can help you out some. He's also in Australia, so maybe if you guys are near by, you can get together and figure something out. :
Oh yeah sure Chops...don't refer him to me...even though I tried helping you the most.
Chuccky-
Within the next 24hours you should be getting a e-mail message from me (Blake Mazanec). In the e-mail I will explain what modifcations can be done and all that good stuff. Also your actually in more luck than you think living in Austrailia.

i always talk to people with the first questions... how much would you like to spend, and how much faster would you like to go? i am in brisbane, a couple of people in here i'm starting to have conversations with in meeting up. i'll be meeting scrud tonight with the turbo accent which will be great. Well you could start off with an air filter, removing the resonator on the intake tract, and freeing up your exhaust system, by ideally, starting from the exhaust manifold back (headers) A very worthwile mod for the sonata, is to work on the suspension, personally, i wouldn't just change the springs, i've been there, it didn't help at all with take off or cornering. spend the money and buy a good set of shocks, like koni (what i have), or better still, get a coil over setup like i do on the front to suit your driving. you could try something like installing hks 264 cams in your car for approximately $600 usa on top, which would give you the sound, and the top end power when you need it.
