Default What About XG's?

Does anyone have any pictures of XG's out there? I just bought the 2002 XG350. I was wondering if there are any modes out there for this model.

:??:What type of mods would you be looking for? There is not a whole lot out there for XGs but some things are universal, such as wheels. Performancewise, I haven't seen anything. I did my own air box mod to get it some more air and I am going to talk to a custom exhaust shop about building an exhaust for it. Limited suspension mods may be available from www.sharkracing.com

I want to add an air scoop just like the Subaru WRX that goest directly to a modified air box. Do you have any pics of your mod air box?

Sorry, I don't have a digital camera but i believe there is a write up on this forum about a CAI for a tibby that has pictures. The XG is not that different from the tibby when it comes to the air box. In fact, that write up is what I used as a point of departure. Check out NA Tuning Forum.

If you are talking about a ram air setup..have fun. That is gonna cost you some big bucks..ecepsically if you make it like the WRX. First your gonna have to plan and sketch out how your gonna run the tubing and the filter and how the air box is gonna be setup for getting the air into the car. Then your gonna have to work on water..you can't be having water going into your air intake system, otherwise your gonna lock your engine up. Water doesn't burn buddy. Then your gonna have to sketch out how you want your hood to be and then take it to someone that will actually make it for you. That should cost a couple pennies.

I say just make your own custom CAI or have a tunning shop custom make one for you. Its a lot cheaper, easier, and probably safer wise as in locking up your engine.
