Default Already Makin Ricers Cry but ....

Hey there,
I'm new to this board but not new to my car.
Running a '93 Sonata V6 and spankin ricers here in beautiful San Diego california.
Here's my question. I'm ready for an Intake but what do I do with the MONSTROUSITY of a Mass Airflow Sensor that the 6g72 enegine has? Anyone with Ideas or knows the Answer?
Thanx

This is only a suggestion. It will affect directly your emmisions control systems.

It is HKS Vein Pressure Converter.

I dont know what you'll have to do to install this on a Sonata, but it's worth a shot if you dont want to go full standalone engine management. I have never worked with this unit before, I'm sorry I couldnt help more other than make a suggestion.

I have heard about the 4.7 khz resistor trick and was wondering if anyone else has done this with a Hyundai or attempted it with any other kind of car.
If you don't know about the resistor trick check this out:

Anybody?

I'm not sure about th 6G72, but I used to have a Dodge Avenger ES, which had a 6G73. The same block, and a very similar engine overall, just .5L smaller. Not sure if it applies to the 6G72, but on the 73, we could just remove the airbox and attach a K&N cone filter directly to the existing tubing. Didn't have to mess with the MAFS or anything else.

You may find some support on ASOG.net, which is an Avenger/Sebring group. Also stratusphere.com, I think. The new Stratus/Sebring has the 6G72.
