It seems that the only way to go when you need power with a Sonata is doing the 4G63T engine swap, that is where my money is going this summer.

Hi,
I would like to thank you for reppyling to my post ( i need power) I would love to change over to a 4G63T but i have a buddget for this year mabey in the future i could chane engines. I was think more in the lines of replacing some stuff on the car to give me a liitel power for now. I have started by puting on a flow master exhaust on it and the next thing i would like to do is replace the filter with air intake but i am having trouble with that because of the mass air flow sencer. Is there anything else that somone out their can give me a littel pointer to get more speed.

Well how about this...you save up about $500 and get a dry nitrous kit and use a small shot. (make sure you upgrade your plugs when doing this) And then just save up for the engine swap. Then later when you do the swap you can throw your dry kit on it or save up and put a nice wet kit on on it. Sounds like a plan to start with for me.
