Default rotor replace

have any of you guys tried to replace the front rotors on a 99-01 sonata? i tried to take the stock rotor off today but failed to do so. i got the brake assembly off, along with the 2 screws, but the damn rotor wouldn't budge. i even tried to use a gear puller on it. i'm thinking it must be rust. anyone else have this problem?

It should come right off since I believe they are not captive rotors. It is just rust, or so I hope. Just take a hammer and slightly hit the outer edges of the rotor all around it and it should loosen it up, that or just give it a light kick on the left, right, up, and downside of the rotor so it will move that way and loosen it up.

Superbee, Hiya

Try some rust penetrant,WD40 or the stuff Mopar sells, which is great. If you are replacing the rotors, give them a big wack or two from the backside. Some times I have to beat the hell out of them, which means replacement anyway. :hmmm:
