if you look into engine stuff for the 03 tiburon and Suspension items from the xg350. you can find alot of parts for the Sonata. You just got to know what can be interchanged from the cars parts bins. You can find out alot of info on the hyundai service website. Eibach makes springs for the car now and alot of performances parts fit from the tiburon and Santa Fe 2.7l V6. I am not sure what engine you have. I have the 02 LX V6 and I have be able to design a large single exhaust system to fit the car too. I hope this info helps.

the Exhaust system is custom built. the header is from hdkautosport.com(comes with or without cats). it is running a 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back to a 3-chamber flo-master muffler. If you take a look under your car. the factory exhaust is a striaght run to the back of the car. man it is alot better than my bmw 328es. so you should be able to get any shop in your town to make a custom system for you . my set-up is for the alpine S/C. any S/C or turbo car needs a bigger exhaust system. I was a mech engineer for GM, so do not believe the hype about the muffler change will add H/P. when you upgrade any part of your engine, three system need to be upgraded at the same (intake, exhaust and ignition). If you do not upgrade all these at the same time, you will get the full use of that part upgrade. Alot of folks out there rely on the "seat-of-the-pants" fell for upgrades. I am still in the planning stages of my car. so in the next six months I will start on it. I have done serveral race car build-ups(3 drag and 1 oval dirt). so if you plan your upgrades right, your car will be much more enjoyable and last alot longer. I am looking to put about 265hp and 285 lb-ft and still around 22-25mpg in the city. just remeber enjoy what you drive, your paying the payment.
