2002 XG 350 performance

I am looking to add more hp to a 2002 XG 350 any suggestions. I do not want to have one of these loud fast and furious type of cars------no offense-----and was hoping to keep all modifcations under 1500 USD. Any suggestions. I have looked on the web some what . but to no avail
