Default cheap tricks for a sonata

Do any of the sonata owners know of any CHEAP tricks to dress up a 2001 sonata. I don't mean by washing it, i want actual products. Mostly because i'm on a budget and i want to make it look the best it could be. And im not tryin to make it look cheap or half a$$ either. I want it to be some what car show presentable.

You could try some exterior dressing up with body kits, side skirts, or other comesmetic upgrades. Check out www.sharkracing.com or www.k-spec.com. I don't know if K-spec will have any though.

mines the same as yours...I gotta 2000 Sonata...the best thing I did for the outside appearance of my car was to replace the front orange turn signal bulbs with Xenon bulbs. I know it doesn't sound like a major change bit believe me when the car is parked and your walking towards it...it changes the whole look of the car. Because the front housings are clear you can clearly see the blue bulb inside and it looks awesome. It looks better too when your using them....they flash clear instead of orange. I did xenon all over my car..I got em in the reverse lights too...that looks cool. I got em in the trunk and in the dome light inside.....by the way there is a big difference having the xenon bulb in the trunk.....its a whole lot brighter. Hope this helps a bit....

If you want to keep it small you could either get your rims chromed ($150), get lowering springs ($250), tint ($160), xenon all around ( I would recommend getting some APC supermax xenon bulbs for your turn signals. They cost $8.99 at either PepBoys or Advance Auto in orange which is more like nuclear orange and not puke amber). You could even order some clear tail lenses from kspec.com for like $70. Not sure what your budget is but these items seperate or combined make 99-01's the ****. You could even add some fog lights for around another $70 for a combined price of $709. All you would need after that are some 18"s and a bodykit.
