Need 99-01 Cat back exhaust ideas!

Heya, yeah I'm a newbie here.

I have a 00 Sonata GLS 2.5v6(delta i believe). The first thing I want to do is some kind of cat back system. My current idea is to drop the resonator as to run a straight pipe from cat to muff. Pref. 2.25in or maybe 2.5. I want a deep tone, but clean at the same time. I guess my main question is what type of muffler would best benefit this car?

Also someone really needs to explain the whole concept of backpressure to me, I've read conflicting stories that have plain ****ed up my brain.
