hi guys,
i am new to this forum.

as of now i have done the following:
1. upgraded filter to an APEXi cone filter
2. upgraded spark plugs to denso platinums
3. upgraded ignition leads to ht leads
4. upgraded from 195/65/15s to 225/45/17s

madras, india
i didn't realise the sirius II came in 2.0L....but then again, you're in india, and they have different versions of engines in different countries.
i'll see what i can find...

They have a turbo kit for the 2.0L ( in the states we have a 2.4L Sirius II) at www.hksmall.com, www.kspec.com has everything you could possably want for the 2.0L (header, intake, exhaust, cam gears, bodykits, dressup and everything else) because the Korean Spec motor is the 2.0L. I hope thid helps you :rambo:
I am sorry, but am pretty sure that you are talking about the 2.4L Sirrus. The only 2.0L Hyundai makes is the Beta. The old 2.0 offered in Sonata's was dropped after 98. And as of right now there are no performance parts for the 2.4L. I say go custom since nothing is offered for your car.

hi guys. thanks for all info.
i am super super sure that i have the 2.0 litre engine in my sonata. there is also the 2.7 V6 offered, but that was launched after i bought my 2.0.
i have written to HKS and K-Spec. lets see what they come back with!
Hyundai Only made the 2.4L for the US in order to compete with the larger displacement engines of the other car (i.e. Honda, Toyota) manufacturers. Most all other countries have either the 1.8L or the 2.0L wich both make more than the same displacement Tiburons and Elantras. The 2.0L only make 138HP and 146 lb.ft. of TQ where as the 2.4L make 149HP and 156lb.ft of TQ. The 2.5's and the 2.7's though are unchanged in any country. So...they are in essence the same exact engine, but have different internals, bores and strokes and compression etc.
