Sonata door handles - Hyundai Performance Forums

On my wifes 00 sonata the paint is coming off of the inside. I checked my Moms and hers is also coming off but not as bad. Does this happen often and is it covered under the warrenty? Thanks.

:??:My wife has a 2002 Sonata LX and the samething is happening. I think there is a flaw in the design of the handle. I will be taking it in to the dealer. I will podt results.

yes, this does seem to be a common problem.
i suggest taking it to the dealer, or getting these:

my doorhandles are doing that too!!! gayness, after only 5 1/2 months...:dead:
