The Alpine kit for the Tiburon will work. You're looking at about $3000, assuming that you can install it yourself. It provides +47.7 hp and +40 ft/lb of torque at 4 lb/psi of boost.

yes, it's the same 2.7L delta engine, so that supercharger will work on your car. i'm not sure if there's any other production supercharger on the market, but i do know that the alpine is by far the most common, so i'd get that.

I highly recommend the Alpine Supercharger, if it's not powerful enough, there will be tonnes of upgrades for it.

Don't be surprised that with a couple more thousand after the install that you will have multiple car lengths on some of the fastest sedans out there on the drag strip.

it'd be 2500-3k for the supercharger, not to mention the install, actually. and i think the supercharger only gives 4 psi out of the box. but that can be changed by adding the 86 mm underdrive pulley for it, which gives it more boost than the normal 88 mm pulley.

Is There a Supercharger Kit For The 3.5L Sigma 3500 V6? on the XG?
I Mean.. The V6 has plenty of "snap ya into the seat" low-end Power
But The Lack of a manual take's out the fun.
a SUPERCHARGED XG In the 260HP Should be enough to eat some TL"S AND ES's

Estimated 0-60 time in a XG350:7.6 Sec
need's more power in the lower gears though.

Also if you want to wait...SR is coming out with a Turbo kit for the 2.7L V6 for the Tiburon. I am pretty sure they will work out the kit for the Kia Optima, Sonata, and Santa Fe. But if you are ready to go..just go with the Supercharger. You will defniatly have a one of kind Sonata out there on the road, and I am sure that you will be more than satisfied with the power your car will deliver. It will defiantly have enough snap for daily commuting and a little extra on the side when you wanna get down and dirty.
