Default HID Kit for 02 XgL?

has anyone installed Xenon headlight's on their xg's?
I'm thinking of getting a catz 4500K "WHITE" HID Kit to be in the expensive luxury car league.
Getting it is no problem, the problem i have is installing it.
is there anyone here who has picture step by step tutorial's?
i already have nokya H1 bulbs on my high beams. and they DO and Look like HID!!
and i have optilux blue bulbs from HELLA on my fog lights

can somebody help??

i'm new by the way so ...hello i'm happy that we are proud owner's of hyundai vehicles.

oh i forgot i was looking for a new set of low beams being im unsatisfied with my current ones thanks ill try the nokya's

Hey Tak82,

Did you ever get around to installing the HID kit in your XG? I finally rehosted my HID upgrade pics, now at www.photobucket.com. Type kagemusha in the album prompt to get to my album page and then click on the hotlink titled XG300 HID upgrade pics (or something to that effect)...I'm too lazy to hotlink all the photos here one at a time, sorry. Anways, had the kit in now about three months I think, and still very, very happy with the results. Just wondering if/how the install went for you and the possible results.

XG300 modest upgrades: American Racing wheels w/ Kumho Ecsta KH11 tires, 6 speaker Nakamichi components upgrade and Rockford-Fosgate 8 inch sub, Philips Truevision H1 highs and OEM HID, tint (50% front, 30% back, 20% rear).

Also you can get the Korean lamps with HID already installed

Nokya sucks..I tried before and last 2 days..
Vision bulbs lasted 5 days..
PIAA lasted 3 weeks...
Now I'm using stocks..which still lasts after more than 3years of use..:smoking:

WHOA,There seem's to be a glitch or so i think in the forum,i posted this thread long time ago..
I was wondering why this thread looked so familiar..

Could the Moderator's or Admin's explain this?

sorry for digressing from the topic

Although..i still haven't installed HID Because of the Cost and i have very little money stored to buy HID Kit..Only $180

to do what i can to save money
I eat only 1 meal per day so i save money..
that mean's eating Shin Ramen for 1 day..
