Right....do you relize how much power you would have to have to reach 100 in 8 seconds? Oh wait..do you mean KMH or MPH?

ahh okay. I can c now. Thanx for clarifying that. I could see the repectble times now. I imagine since you are located in Australia you wouldn't have emission regulations like the US giving you a little performance advantage, possibly. Would you say high 8's reaching to 100KHM or low? I could see high or mid 8's with lowered center of gravity and a filter possibly. Even though a filter doesn't do that much. Have you done anythign else such as weight reduction? How did you go about launching? Sorry for the mistake, my bad bro.

Wow 15.1! That is an excellent time for the Sonata. Could you post the slip? I am not calling you a liar but 15.1 just sounds kind of exagerated to me for 1 1/2 ton family sedan with a 5spd V6 pulling only aprox 160hp or so. :hmmm:

the 2003 tib actually does where just about as much as the sonata, and it has the same engine. it runs 15.2-15.3 stock, depending on driver. so i'd believe this.

You have to remember craig that the Tiburon's gearing is towards sports=short ratios=faster accleration. While the Sonata's is geared towads easy crusing=longer ratios=slighly slower accleration. Also the fact that most Tiburon GT are 6spds. Also...considering the fact that we still don't know which Year and trim level we are discussing here. I just automatically assumed using the Delta. I could never imagine a mostly stock Y3 hitting the quarter mile in about 15.1 seconds. Also the fact that it takes you over 8seconds to hit 60 but 15.1 to run the qaurter. It could happen but I would expect a lower time in the 0-60 margin if you hitting the quarter in 15.1.:smoking:
