Default Making Torque

I am new to Imports so I need all the help I can get. I need to know how to make more torque from the motor and/or is there anyway to change the final drive in my A/T. If I was driving a RWD, I would change the rear-end gears, but I'm not. So any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. I own a 1995 Sonata with a 2.0 DOHC.

I don't think there is any way to change your FDR unless you change the torqe converter out..i believe that is what makes the final drive ratio (FDR <---my abbrev) About making more power/tourqe..you could turbo charge your engine. Do a search on turbo sonata...you should come up with quite a few results that should satisfy your hunger.

Sorry but you're wrong. You change the final drive only by swapping out your differential gear. It's the only way and I think it's nearly impossible on a FWD.The torque converter act only as some kind of a "clutch" to allow slipping between engine and tranny.

Thank god we don't have this tiny powerplant in our sonatas here in north america!!!
It's not a rocket with a NA 2.0l, imagine with a 1.8!
Seriously don't waste your time and your hard earned dollars on this too-small-engine-for-a-such-heavy-car.If you wanna go turbo swap a 4g63t from an eclipse and you'll be in bizness. It's by far the easiest way.

i have peak torque at 2500 RPMs, and 26 ft/lbs torque peak more than what my hp peaks at.......then again, there's no replacement for displacement. i have a 3.0L V6.
