XG 300L Interior Noise - Hyundai Performance Forums

Has anyone out there had a problem with interior noise on their XG 300 or 350? I've taken mine to Hyundai twice and they've lubricated the areas behind the ceiling panel and the pillar on the driver's side. However, that only makes it better for a few days. It's a creaking sound every time I go over a bump or a driveway that sounds like stress noises you hear on a ship. I only have 18,000 miles on my 2001 model and this started about 5,000 miles ago.

doe's your car have a sunroof?

My XG Rattle's moderately whe it's baffeled by strong wind's or going over rough terrain when the sunroof is open,

Sorry to like revive this topic from the dead, but I have the same problem. I think it's the suspesion, any other ideas?

I had almost forgotten about this forum and happened to be browsing again tonight. Thanks for your suggestion and I will look into it; however, the sound is seems to be coming from inside the car, not the suspension. I need to take the car in anyway; the oil light flickers from time to time and I've got interference in my rear speakers, which seems to occur when my cell phone is in the car (similar to what happens when it's near my desktop computer speakers).

Yes, I have a sunroof, but the sound is there regardless of what position the sunroof is in.
