I thought Mobis' online mall would be a good place to start looking: http://mall.mobis.co.kr/mainindex.jsp There were some spoilers listed, but not for the XG. Then again, I don't read Korean very well and I could have easily missed it. Or maybe Mobis doesn't sell them online.

Next I looked at the XG site on Hyundai Motors Korean site. No spoiler again in any of the official pics, so I don't think it's an OEM option. Man, I got mad looking at all the cool options for the KDM XG. Rear adjustable and heated seats, navigation, refrigeration in the center console for beverages!!! The list goes on and on...if you want to see what we're all missing check out the e-catalog for the XG on that site. Okay, off my soapbox.

You said you've seen them in Korea so I'll assume you get there from time to time. Maybe visiting a Mobis location there would get you hooked up or at least they can point you in the right direction.

Otherwise, I didn't see any of the usual suspects here in the US (e.g. Kspec) offering a rear spoiler and of course the Hyundai dealerships here are no help...the range of OEM accessories for the XG here are just dismal.

This is a long way to say I didn't find anything, but I was curious and gave it a shot. uzzled:

Here's a long history of my headlight experience if anyone cares. I've been fascinated with HID probably ever since I first saw them first on Porsches.

When I got the XG with its projector lenses I immediately thought they might take a modified bulb and both look and perform well. By this time I'd seen lots of really crappy HID wanna-be kind of stuff and was wary of that. Despite that, I went on eBay and bought some 'xenon HID' look bulbs. Put them in and was so-so pleased with the look, but not at all happy with how much worse they performed compared to even the stock halogens.

So I researched bulbs some more, this time looking for legitimate performance tests and found a bulb test in the U.K. that rated the Visionplus the highest. I purchased them for both the H7 and H1. I was VERY happy considering they were halogens. Sure, no HID look, but they really were better than the stock halogens as they advertised. I still use them in my H1 highbeams.

About six months later I learned of the HID conversion kits, and again considering the H7 projector lenses, thought such a kit might work well in the XG. I got a decent deal on the CATZ kit and installed it a few months before the ban on retail sale for such kits. Unlike the 'xenon HID' bulbs this was the real thing and I used this up until about 3 months ago, when a chance trip to Korea gave me the opportunity to buy OEM HID headlamps.

The OEM HID headlamps are better than the CATZ. However, it's not as huge a difference as some might think and there's one thing I didn't do when installing the CATZ that might have made a big difference: the XG projector lenses are somewhat foggy on the outside of the lens within the housing (at least mine are.) Whether this occurs during manufacturing or later I don't know, but I bet opening the headlamp and giving the lens a really good cleaning would make a big difference. Whether or not that foggy effect reappears I'll never know, but had I not gotten the OEM HID it's something I probably would have taken a look at eventually. That's the long and the short of it.

Sylvanina Market's their Sylvania Silverstars as a poor man's approach to HID Look Headlight

That's right..the LOOK of Hid....Not the Lumen's of HID,

They'll do anything to sell a ordinary bulb that's been made with a faint Bluish Puirplish Tint Glass and Quadruple the price,

as for the trunk spoiler Lip, I Know a Local neighbor who's a carpenter by trade from his father and he made a Lip for His Maxima, Youi just need a good Size amount of Wood, Not Plywood or Luan!!

Put a Layer of Body Putty "Bondo" on the bottom of the wood so it will contour to the Curve's of the trunk lip, This way..there will be no gap's and the fit will be Flush,

After it's dried up,Sand it down to desired smoothness, add Good High Quality Water-based Primer or any good primer and Add your Paint "Spray-gun preffered, not rattle can, And clearcoat
