Default Rust Proofing new cars

Just wondering if it is worth getting rust protection and paint proofing of a brand new hyundai sonata? Is it a waist of time or what.

Cheers, chris

Every book I've ever read on buying new cars says it's a waste of money...

Hyundai have a pretty long corriosion warranty...why would you want to waste your money?

get a can of rubberized undercoating spray and you'll have some Underbody insurance and a quieter ride,

Go to a automotive store and buy 4 cans of rubberized udercoating. You'll spend less than $20 and it will be worth it. Depends where you live. If you live in california then you dont need it as much as a state with snow, ice, rain, etc.
