Start with a CAI, it's quick and easy.

CAI is cold air intake. Most stock boxes will restrict airflow.

http://www.importperformance.com/intakes/

An intake allows more air to travel into your engine...

a cold air intake Consist's of of a conical filter,Silicone clamps and stell or aluminum Pipe's with clamps,

Cold air make's The Air entering the intake manifold and into the combustion chamber more dense, Warm air rob's horsepower and heat's ythe engine up pretty badly during the summer,

In Other Word's..a Cold Air Intake..a.k.a. "CAI" Allow's the engine to breathe fresh cold Air Freely instead of a restrictive designed air box that's kind of designed to be weather resistent like flooding an engine while going through a puddle,

It also help's during high end acceleration..you'll feel a difference,

It's a simple practical way and the most basic way to Tuning an engine for horsepower,

There's 2 type's of air induction systems

Cold air Intake
and a Warm Air Intake

Warm air intake is a cheaper way to get more air into the Engine But it's less effective since the pipe is short and the filter is inside and too close to the engine bay which get's hot while driving, so basically the WAI Is sucking warm air caused by the hot atmosphere of the hot engine in the car..it may be effective in protecting the engine during a Hydrolock Situation but a WAI Ain't that optimal for performance,

Cold air is different by having extended pipe's going down to the below part of the engine where Cold air passe's by the car's underbody and fresh cold air is sucked in by the CAI Filter,

I Hope my little definition helped,X)

the 2.4L is offered only in north america, so you won't find much support for it. pretty much everything will have to be custom.
