Default getting better mileage

Any suggestions for aftermarket equipment that might increase a 2004 Sonata's highway mileage? Still near 30 mpg, but doing 550 miles per week at $1.95 per gallon adds up quickly. And it's frustrating driving 70mph just to get good mileage. Thanks

skinnier tires = less rolling resistance. There are tires out that actually focus on gas mileage. Don't keep a lot of crap in your car to add up weight. keep up on tire pressure, oil changes, and air filter inspection.

don't go past 60, as I learned from the member's

That's when fuel economy start's to get worse..if you're driving on a long stretch with not much traffic ahead..put on the cruise control "If equipped"

aviod jackrabbit starts..some may think that they're car is fast cause you're revving the poor V6 for all it's got which is pointless since it's a low-end engine and revving it ain't gonna help the engine internal's last long,

Buy some STP or Lucas or any good fuel treatments"Avoid the Fancy Bottle's" &Write a Log on how much MPG You've achieved

when you're driving around a area where gas is cheaper than where you live is, Fill it up, even though it's half empty or a 1/4 off of full, It'll reward you when you return home and think you have to buy more pricy gas,
