can a person take the "hyundai", "sonata" and the "v6" plastic decals off the trunk and not have to repaint. do they come off from inside the trunk? is it going to leave little holes in the trunk lid? thank you for any help you mite leave.

when it's warm outside, use dental floss as a "saw" behind the emblems. once they come off, use a safe cleaning agent to get the rest of the adhesive off. i believe the "h" logo will have to stay unless you have bondo/paint skills, which you mentioned not wanting to mess with.

well which emblems are u talking about:
big shiny ones (dont have clue how to get off)
the vinyl type ones, um two methods
First use hairdryer (if you have a good one not a cheap one, go buy the cheap one if i you dont wana screw up ur good one)
Second use a razor blade, but u have to be careful with this, you have to go parallel to the surface your working on or ll scratch the paint, ive dont that bad thing... after you get it off go get some GOO GONE, or some thing that can take the left overs off really nice.

then you should be done, and hte hyundai emblems should work the same way like on the back of the 2000 accents theres that black strip of plastice, jsut take a blade and pop the emblems out slowly to remove all the foam behind them, and in there place put a car club logo or somthing to replace that hole (not really a hole just an indent)

thats about all i have to offer

you can also use a hair dryer to heat up the decalls and then use the floss to saw them off.

its just held on with adhesive. hair dryer and something to get behind it will work just fine. might have to take residue off but no worries about your paint, that stuff is strong.

do you own an extension cord?

and goo gone is a cleaner that is meant to remove adhesive, ask for it at a home improvement store

All I did was use a blow-dryer, 8 inch piece of dental floss, and some goof off,

worked wonderfully!!!
