Default 2001 xg300L Headlight question

Yoon, Maybe you can help me, or anyone else.

I want the headlights to be the super white almost blue ones like that are stock on 2000 Tibs. Also, the housing, where to look for the different housing, Chrome inside instead of gray.

any help is better than none...

Thanks

Stock tibs are not superwhites (almost blue)
Go to any PepBoys or your local rice shop and you can get them.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

the only way for you to get "CLEAR" headlamps is to purchase the FACTORY HID system..

before Hyundai Korea was selling the headlamp assemblies separatel, but after they found out that people were just buying the headlamp case and sticking in regular bulbs(bad optics...focal point loss), hyunda korea has stop selling them separately..

instead of spending $900 for the HID headlamps... what your can do is take your headlamps apart and paint the black part "chrome" or have it plated chrome.

Autobot... I had a 2000 Tib before this car, And I dont know what kinda name goes with teh tib bulbs, but it is very different looking from the ones I have now.....

I actually got pulled over before, because I was told they were illegal, they shined a diffent purplish, blueish, tint, and it was very noticable, I had to replace them after a long trip, they both went out at the same time,,,,and there were normal, looking bulbs, but there were still bluish, and very very bright, unlike the ones I have now,,,,

I dont know the technical name for them,,,But I think everyone agrees, that the Tiburon(2000) and the 2001 XG shine very differently when headlights are on..

as far as taking apart my headlights and painting them, That is too much work, and too much room for error.... I will just forget about that part..... Now I just want my bulbs to shine the way MY OLD 2000 Tiburon did.

I had a 2000 Tib too and the lights were normal color. (not bluish) I ended up buying and installing the ones that were a bluish color shortly after buying the car but the stock lights on my tib and every other tib I have seen were your normal non-bluish color.

As far as shining different then the XG, I dunno since I have never payed attention to the color of their lights but I am am sure their are some differences.

Hi I just got the new XG350L and I was wondering about what yoon said. Is there any other way I can get the inside of my headlight case to be chrome? I'm afraid to take apart my headlight casing since I might break it, or if anyone knows how to do it for me Ill pay em. Oh yea are there any kits for the xg?
