Default battery in the trunk?

hey has anyone moved there battery to their trunk? and if they did how and how much$?

i am thinking of doing this because I will have more room in my engin bay and easier to put an a cai...

yeah ive been wanting to do that real bad but i dont want it to cost an arm and a leg

i want to know to because that means with the battery removed and that stupid battery plate removed maybe i can get that last useless resonator off

i think it's going to be tough, but manageable. on the '99 and up sonata it is not a standard positive-negative connection. the positive side looks like it's got some touchy wires that cannot be cut and spliced. also, i think the remote start system (if applicable) will be tricky to go around. good luck.

Just get a set of jumper cables and clip ome end to the battery terminals and the other to the factory leads.

Now that i have looked at it a litle more i think that if i did move the battery there is a lot more room in my car for a cai (homemade of course) and then room for other things eventually (super/turbo) mabey in the future...

you need a big diameter cable to go to trunk...

And you must put the battery in a sealed case to keep in the acid it if overflow or whatever

looks difficult, but that extra space in the engine bay is worth it.
im planning to do that more towords the summer
