Default Sonata Wheel Sensor

Hey what's up, just bought a new 07 Sonata GLS, I want to get some aftermarket wheels for it, but the OEM wheels have that Sensor on them, you know where the Valve steam is, so what would happen if I buy some wheels for it, will it just transfer over or will I have to live with that light being on in the car, any info would help, thanks

Default Not a Problem

The sensor can be transferred from one wheel to another without a problem. It is a simple procedure, and most shops will be able to do it, if not already in the near future. I know Wal-Mart is currently bringing the capability to service sensors online. By the end of this year, all new vehicles sold in the U.S. will have Direct TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems) in order to comply with government regulations.

Besides tirerack.com is there any other reputable websites the sell after market wheels and the TPMS sensors?

I want to keep my stock wheels for the winter time and get a second complete set (rims, sensors, tires) for the summertime

thanks

Default Online Tire Source

The only other place that I have ordered tires from online, is www.ordertire.com, but you have to be in the military, or know someone who is in order to access the site. They however will match any online price, or they have in the past for me, so when ordering wheel/tire combos, I would find the lowest price on whatever I wanted, and then send them the links.
