Because I have 15" steelies left over from our old Elantra. I want winter rims and it would be great if I could re use them.
I believe the bolt pattern (4x114.3) and offset (around +40) are compatible if I'm not mistaken (sorry I'm new to the Sonata world), but does the hub bore on the XD wheels fit on the sonata hub? Do they clear the brakes?

Ok, finally tried it out last night. I had a set of OE replacement steelies (so not the actual ones that came with the car) and they fit... BARELY. They are like 2mm from the front caliper. But the hub bore is also a perfect fit. So I would imagine that wheels would swap great between the two cars.
awesome. now I gotta get some good winter tires.
