Default check engine light on and off

i know ive been asking a whole bunch of questions...but hey if i dont ask i wont learn...im only 17....okay i finally took my car to advanced auto parts to let them to see what codes are coming from the check engine light and they are P1529 and P0715. what can be causing this and how to fix it? thanks

dude like every mechanic says they will scan the problem your ECU picked up for free.
no point just asking for codes.

P1529 means the TCU wanted the CEL turned on.

P0715 is a turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction.

You probably need a new speed sensor.

It means the CEL came on because the Transmission Control Unit told the ECU to turn it on.

Code p0715 is a input speed sensor code. I would replace the input speed sensor and clear the codes. The P1529 is just from the Trans controller asking the Engine computer to turn on the CEL. Input sensor is the one under the bracket that holds the shift cable on the top of the transmission
