As an '06 Sonata LX owner, what excites me the most about the '09 is the performance upgrades. I've added Eibach Pro-Kit springs to my car, and that has improved handling quite nicely -but I'd still be interested in replacing my s-bars with the '09 SE ones. Also, more power is always good, so I'd like to know if the intake improvement is an easy upgrade (hard parts, new programming only or both). I'd like to see someone "in the know" post all of the '09 performance upgrades with factory part numbers and any necessary info. on making the mods -maybe that will be me!

09 interior is very nice looking! Do you think a swap with the 09 dash is capable to put in a 06? I like how the the center consule is all the way up to the radio..

Probably, but would it be worth the time and effort? Might make more sense to pick up a used '09 (SE!) on the cheap after it takes the biggest depreciation hit. I was amazed at how affordable a used '06 was very shortly after they came out... I bought mine new, and kinda wish I had waited and bought used. No doubt Hyundai has been making cars comparable to the industry leaders, but haven't been doing it long enough to improve the resale value. Food for thought,
