New to this forum, just got an 09 Sonata from my 05 Elantra GT. HID question

I read my manual and it states a bulb type I do not recognize. Can anyone tell me the bulb base for the low beams and fog lights on the 09 sonata? Apparently they changed it but didn't reflect the change in the manual.

Don't know if you are still looking for this info but the low beam bulb is an H11B. The people who have put HID's in the 2009 Sonata have used an H11 kit and made a slight modification to an internal part of the headlight housing. You can find detailed directions by doing an internet search.

I don't know the type of bulb in the fog lights.

What does it say in the manual? It is probably not coded with the North American coding. What is it listed as?
