Default No start

Looking for help.
2001 Sonata V6. The engine will not start. Not even a click from the selinod.
Everything else works. Checked starter at AutoZone, replaced ingition switch, new cable from battery to starter. same problem if car is in park or neutral

Any ideas??

Thanks
Jeff

Has the chip in the key maybe been deprogrammed, just a thought because if the key is not reading and you turn the key everything else will still work.

Check the fuses under the hood and inside the car.

Check starter fuse in cabin fuse center then, Check trigger wire from starter to under hood fuse and relay center. Check starter relay for voltage and starter trigger pin for voltage during start position. You can eliminate trigger wire from diag by simply jumping voltage to stater relay trigger pin. See hmaservice etm diagrams for wire and pin identification.

Thanks Guys.

Check the fuses, and relays. Used both keys, (I don't think they have chips). Time to look for the starter trigger.
