Now that hp is up and about i need alot of help for my sonata gl even though it is a 4cyl i still want to try and get as much power as possible so please feel free to help me out in any way.:dead:
Also can I add a turbocharger to my 98 sonata i heard something about mitsubishi turbo kits fitting on hyundais but i do not know about which one and where to put it i need alot of help
Please tell us what time do you want to run, and how much are you prepared to spend? that will give us a good idea. Also, have you considered insurance costs after modification?
Unfortunately, due to the weight of your car, cheap mods, are going to get you nowhere. Spend your money on coil over suspension, buy an air-filter, remove the resonators along your intake pipe, install a cold air induction pipe leading to your air filter, and try getting an exhaust manifold back exhaust system. i think that this is as far as you would like to go from the sounds of it.
or you could save up and do a engine swap and get around 218hp with non turbo version. Then swap your tranny for a manual, custom exhaust, and a nice simple nitrous kit.
