Body lean in a stock Accent is nothing compared to the body lean in my Excel. The suspension is shot on the drivers side so when you corner to the right the drivers side leans WAY down *Look at Avatar* and when cornering to the left the car only drops like half of what the front does before loosing traction. I was considering buying KONI Adjustable struts and KYB Adjustable rears for the excel.

I used to place about mid pack with my Excel. I'm looking forward to placing higher with my Elantra GT. If you want some results of my events I raced in check out these links:

Well if you had 50 cones, like, tell yourself that every cone knocked over is a day without getting laid. You wont hit one I gurantee!:lol::lol::lol:

hey wait a minute... I just realized this thread was based around winnipeg! WOO! REPRESENT (j/k)

but yeah, I'm thinking of autox, if not this year, then next for sure. I just spent a few hundred fixing my stock suspension, so I'm not exactly rushing out to replace everything again. Though I have been searching forever for a strut tower brace and any other suspension upgrades I can find for my excel. Already have my GT grant steering wheel though

anyways, i'll probably see you around

(And that looks like the Ex grounds in the video....:hmmm: )

jerkitt, I have a Shark Racing Strut bar for my 91 Excel. It helps, I'm not sure a WHOLE lot, because I'm still running stock everywhere else. Maybe within this year if I don't focus on my GT I'll lower the Excel or get the KYB and KONI Adjustable shocks and struts....

you told me about shark racing a while back

they discontinued the Excels strut bar, and don't have any anymore

unless you were saying you were selling yours?

and do they make adjustable shocks and struts for Excels? how easy is it to adjust them?
