What I was wondering was if it is bad to downshift AND brake simutaneously. Since both are using the front wheels, is it bad if I use them at the same time? Or is it just more braking power?
The reason I'm asking is because I do this all the time, and I never really thought about it until now.
mm.. i don't really see the point. Seems like it would negate the engines breaking.. might as well us the brakes and save the clutch.. I just use 4th for engine breaking.. like when coming off the highway. Other than that I use the brakes.
