Default Re: How to launch a hyundai

If you are on street tires do the rest of us a favor, Don't go through the water. it loads up in the tread then leaks onto the starting line. Also most everybody at the track gets pissed at the front wheel drive cars trying to do burnouts in the water, they always drag water up to the starting line making the track slick for everyone else. Most street tires don't need any water to do a burnout. Anyone that tells you not to get your tires hot has not done much drag racing. Go around the water pull the Ebrake and nail the gas. If it dosen't spin you are wasting your time doing a burnout anyway. Just pull up to the line , stage and when the tree comes down nail the throtle on the second yellow and let off the brake on the third yellow.
