i might go to the track tomorrow... what is the best RPM to launch at? in my 2001 Tiburon

I don't have an 01, but like it between 3 1/2 and 4. High enough to jump right in, but low enough to get some grab. I guess you'll find out soon enough.

heh that just shows the 03 is over weight and under powered.


3500rpms drop in a 01 tiburon and he will smoke them.

True that. Although, the 03 will have to scramble, but not for long. Mine is stock so many of you probably get different results.

I got a 01 tib and the best RPM is around 2500 and feather the cluch... so your tires won't spine to much and you will have good tork:

2,500 is good rpm...i don't feather the clutch, i just kinda dump it...maybe that's why my 60ft is 2.4, huh?
